Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the structure and function of healthy skin

  • Perform regular skin assessments and recognize early warning signs

  • Identify risk factors, characteristics, and causes of:

    • Moisture-associated skin damage

    • Pressure injuries

    • Skin tears

    • Arterial wounds

    • Diabetic foot ulcers
