Medline Canada Corporation is proud to offer two awards of $5,250 each to support Indigenous nurses pursuing the Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (NSWOC) Program. This initiative, created to honour truth and reconciliation, aims to improve access to specialized care in Indigenous communities by increasing the number of NSWOCs.

The $500 Sterasure Academic Achievement Award for the NSWOC Program will be awarded to a graduating student who displays academic excellence in the NSWOC Program.

The Clement LeBlanc Memorial Scholarship is an annual award presented to a New Brunswick NSWOC Program graduate with the highest academic marks.

This Coloplast Award for Excellence in Continence Care is a $1,000 award presented to a NSWOC Program student who displays excellence in Continence Care, with the highest academic achievement in the continence course.

The 2SLGBTQIA+ Nurses Award is a recognition and financial award aimed at honouring the achievements and aspirations of those students who identify themselves as members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and are pursuing education in the Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC) Program or Skin Wellness Associate Nurse (SWAN) Program. This award seeks to celebrate the diversity, resilience, and dedication within the 2SLGBTQIA+ nursing community while supporting those who aspire to make a positive impact in wound, ostomy, and continence patient care. This award aims to provide support and encouragement to deserving individuals as they pursue their educational and professional goals in healthcare.

The Black Nurses Award is a recognition and financial award aimed at honouring the achievements and aspirations of Black students enrolled in the Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC) Program or Skin Wellness Associate Nurse (SWAN) Program. This award seeks to celebrate the dedication, resilience, and potential of Black nursing students who are committed to making a positive impact in the field of wound, ostomy, and continence patient care. With a prize of $500, this award aims to provide support and encouragement to deserving individuals as they pursue their educational and professional goals in healthcare.

This award seeks to celebrate the dedication, resilience, and potential of students of colour who are committed to making a positive impact in the field of wound, ostomy, and continence patient care. This award aims to provide support and encouragement to deserving individuals as they pursue their educational and professional goals in healthcare.

Hollister Clinical Achievement Award for the SWAN Program by a SWAN Student provides an award of $1000.00 annually to a student who displays excellence in academics.

The Hollister Award for Excellence in Ostomy Care by an NSWOC Program Student provides an award of $1000.00 annually to a student who displays excellence in Ostomy Care.

Supported by Hollister Limited, this award is open to an NSWOC who is an active NSWOCC member pursuing a Master’s, or PhD degree.

This award, sponsored by McKin Health, is presented annually to an NSWOC Student who has demonstrated leadership and innovation in wound, ostomy, and continence care and who meets the written criteria for the award.

This $1,000 award recognizes the NSWOC Program student with the highest academic achievement overall.

This $500 award recognizes the SWAN student highest academic achievement in the program.

The Mölnlycke Health Care Indigenous Award is designed to recognize the Academic achievement of a student who has identified as being Indigenous and who has demonstrated academic achievement in either the NSWOC Program or the Skin Wellness Associate Nurse (SWAN) Program. The successful applicant will also demonstrate how they will use what they have learned from their education program to benefit their community.

The Ostomy Canada Society NSWOC Program Award shall be awarded to two (2) individuals annually in the amount of $1500.00 each to encourage Registered Nurses to pursue a career as an NSWOC with a focus on ostomy care.

The Smith+Nephew Clinical Achievement Award in Wound Care by NSWOC Program Students provides two $1,000 annual awards (to one French student and one English student) to students who display excellence in clinical practice.

The $500 Urgo Medical North America Academic Achievement Award for the NSWOC Program will be awarded to a graduating student who displays academic excellence in the NSWOC Program.

The Vancouver United Ostomy Association Chapter NSWOC Award is a $1,000 award to recognize BC NSWOC students, or recent graduates, who have demonstrated a high degree of volunteerism with, and in support of, people in the province of BC living with an ostomy.

Le prix autochtone Mölnlycke Healthcare est destiné à récompenser les résultats scolaires d'un étudiant autochtone et qui a obtenu de bons résultats dans le cadre du programme PF-PSC (ISPSCC) ou du programme Skin Wellness Associate Nurse (SWAN).

Le prix Coloplast pour l'excellence en soins de continence est un prix de 1 000 $ décerné à un étudiant gradué du PF-PSC (ISPSC) qui fait preuve d'excellence en soins de continence et qui a obtenu les meilleurs résultats académiques dans le cours sur la continence.

Le prix Smith and Nephew Clinical Achievement Award in Wound Care décerne deux prix annuels de 1 000 $ (décernés à un étudiant français et à un étudiant anglais) à des étudiants qui font preuve d'excellence dans leur pratique clinique.

Le prix de 1000 $ de la programme ISPSC (ISPSCC) de l’association des personnes stomisées de Vancouver sera décerné chaque année (selon la disponibilité des fonds) pour reconnaître un membre de l’ISPSCC de la Colombie-Britannique qui a fait preuve d’un haut niveau de bénévolat et de soutien envers les personnes de la région de Vancouver, du Lower Mainland ou de la province de la Colombie-Britannique qui vivent avec une stomie.

Les Prix ISPSC au montant de 1,500$ chacun, offerts par la Société Canadienne des Personnes Stomisées, seront décernés à deux (2) personnes, chaque année, pour encourager les infirmiers(ères) à poursuivre une carrière comme ISPSC en soulignant les soins des stomies.
