Do I have to find my own Preceptor for the Clinical Preceptor component of the NSWOC Program?
No, you do not need to find your preceptor entirely on your own. Each student is assigned a Preceptor Coordinator, who will work with you collaboratively to find a suitable preceptor based on your location, clinical background, and learning needs.
Please note the process for assigning a preceptor may vary by province, and all placements must meet specific requirements, including affiliation and insurance agreements. Students are expected to follow all program rules and guidelines to ensure both students and preceptors are protected.
