Under Curtin University’s Global Curtin Terms of Offer, any tuition fees quoted in an Offer are indicative only and based on the course structure published in the Curtin Handbook at the time the Offer is issued. These indicative amounts do not include any future annual tuition fee increases, which may occur during your studies.
To provide further clarity for Canadian applicants, the Deputy Head of School has confirmed with Curtin University’s Admissions Office that a customized total tuition fee cannot be provided at the Offer stage. Tuition fees can only be accurately calculated once students enrol in their specific units and study plan.
If you are granted Credit for Recognized Learning (CRL), your total tuition fees will be reduced, as you will complete fewer units and credit points. Students are only charged for the units they are enrolled in, not the full 200-credit program. Your confirmed fees will be reflected after enrolment and outlined in your Terms of Offer.
Can I complete the program part-time?
Yes, students can complete the program part time during the first semester. The first two courses can be taken one at a time. The second semester research course must be complete during the given semester.

Upon completion graduates can use the title M-AdvPrc – WOCNursing

I received a letter of acceptance, but the University is requesting payment for 200 credits.
The provided fee information is sourced directly from Pricebook and pertains to a full-time enrollment load of 200 credits. Presently, the pricing details are not manually adjusted for part-time students or those receiving Credit for Recognized Learning (CRL), such as NSWOCs. Consequently, students are presented with fees based on a full load of 200 credits. However, students undertaking less than 200 credits are only required to pay for the units they are completing.
NSWOC students receive 100 credits for CRL and are enrolled in 100 credit points throughout the degree program. The total fee for the 2024 academic year amounts to $18,300 AUD. Students have the option to either pay this amount upfront or choose to pay for the units they are enrolled in each semester as outlined in the table below.
Steph Robertson is currently working with the admission team to ensure that NSWOC students receive offer letters reflecting the price for 100 credits. Meanwhile, until this matter is resolved, prospective students interested in applying for the program should be advised that the total fee for the course in 2024 is 18,300 Australian dollars. This amount can be further broken down as below:
2024
First Semester (50 Credits)
MEDS6013 (25 Credits) AUD$4,575
Research and Evaluation in Health
NURS5005 (25 Credits) AUD$4,575

HEAL6002 (50 Credits) AUD$9,150

How does Credit for Recognized Learning (CRL) affect my course duration and tuition fees?
Students entering the Master of Advanced Practice (MC-ADVPRC) in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing with NSWOC® designation receive 100 credits through Credit for Recognized Learning (CRL) and are enrolled in 100 credit points over the duration of the program.
In most cases, this reduces your overall course duration, which is reflected under “Expected Duration” in your Curtin University offer. Your actual tuition fees are also reduced accordingly, and the confirmed cost is outlined in your Terms of Offer.
Please note that the fee amounts displayed at the time of application may show the cost of a full 200-credit load, as pricing is not manually adjusted for part-time enrolment or CRL at that stage. Students completing fewer than 200 credits are only charged for the units they are enrolled in, not the full program.
